The 15th of March 2011 - the remembrance day of the usurpation of Palestine - was a long day in the blessed land and its surroundings as the Jewish entity set its army loose on the unarmed people in Palestine, Lebanon and the Golan…killing tens and injuring hundreds, filling the air from smoke from shells, and coloring the pure earth with blood.
Even all this - the sound of bullets, the roar of plans, the rising smoke - was not enough to awaken the rulers of the lands around Palestine from their heedlessness, so that instead of them taking their own people as enemies they would rightfully take those who have usurped Palestine and its surroundings as their enemies. These massacres by the Jewish entity were not enough to return these rulers to their right minds. They are busy in fighting their own people on account of their protesting against oppression and tyranny. These rulers have mobilised tanks, private forces and republican guards against their people, making the cities and villages the battlefield, instead of the frontier of the occupied land in Palestine, Lebanon and the Golan!
O Muslims, O People: these rulers continue to try to deceive Allah (swt) whilst it is Allah who deceives them, on account of their deeds. They say they are the enemies of Zionism and Imperialism, while they oppress and suppress. The people remain silent on their oppression on the pretext that they are in a state of war with the Jewish entity, and that they intend the liberation of Palestine, from the river to the sea. Yet they have done nothing but end up losing the river, the sea and everything in between to the authority of the Jews! They recognised the Jewish entity upon what was usurped of Palestine in 1948, and resigned to negotiation over whatever the enemy is happy to give them of what was usurped in 1967, or what was occupied of the surroundings of Palestine, even without full sovereignty or authority!
Equal, in this, were those who took the path of openly having a peace treaty with the Jews, in disgrace and humiliation, and those who took the path of what was in effect a peace treaty but were referred to as resistors, to the extent that the borders with the Jews of these ‘resistors’ in the Golan were even more secure for the Jews than the other frontiers, and to the extent that some of them held that the stability of Syria depends on the stability of the Jewish state!
The state of the rulers has become such that they will not even protect unarmed people moving to touch the soil of the blessed land, which they are prevented from by the Arab rulers before they are prevented therefrom by the rulers of the Jews. Had it not been that the Arab rulers are occupied with moving their armies against their own people, and have therefore left open some of the borders with the Jews, the people would not have even had the opportunity to move towards the occupied blessed land…who would have believed that people are able to reach the Golan whilst the Syrian regime’s men and henchmen are near the border?!
O Muslims, O People: the survival of the Jewish state is not due to its power. Rather, it is due to the betrayal of the rulers and their collusion with the disbelieving colonial powers that made this state. Anyone who witnessed what took place in the Golan, Maroun al-Ras, on the checkpoint of Qalandiya and on the outskirts of the Beit Hanoun, and thinks about the agitation and perplexity that hit the leaders of the enemy as they faced defenseless people will realise that this entity is a fragile entity, with crooked foundations, on the way to its downfall. The confusion and agitation did not only affect the Jewish state from the bottom, but indeed all the way to the top. The Prime Minister announced that what had occurred threatened the existence of the state. Defenseless people marching threatened the existence of the state! So how would it be if there was a march from an army preceding these people, purifying for them the Earth from the filth of the oppressing Jews, and allowing the people to return to the blessed land its honour, joyous with the victory from Allah?
How would it be if that happened, and it is an Islamic obligation? Nay, even if it were less than that: an army merely protecting the back of the unarmed marchers, firing back only when they are fired upon? Would the enemy then dare to attack these marchers and kill them?
O Muslims, O Armies that surround the Jewish entity,
How does the blood in your veins not boil whilst you witness the blood of your brothers being spilt? How do you remain silent upon your rulers whilst they do not call on you to fight your enemy who kills your brothers and exploits your land? How do you not fight your enemy but at the same time you fight your own people? Is there not a right-minded man amongst you who would stop these rulers who have sold the land and the people and facilitated for the colonialist disbelievers and the Jews to have authority and control in Palestine and its surroundings?
Do not the words of Allah, the Exalted, invoke fear in you:
وَلاَ تَرْكَنُواْ إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لاَ تُنصَرُونَ
“And incline not to those who do wrong, or the Fire will seize you; and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor shall you be helped.” (Hud: 113)
Do you not contemplate on the ahadith of the Messenger of Allah (saw):
“إنَّ الناسَ إذا رأَوا الظَّالم فلم يأخذوا على يديه يوشك أن يَعُمَّهم اللهُ منهُ بعقابٍ”
“When the people see an oppressor and do not prevent him, it is but close that Allah will envelop them all in a punishment from Him.” (Ahmad, Abu Dawud)
O Rulers in the Muslim lands: The intelligent one is he who takes heeds from the lessons of others. The events occurring these days are signs for you, if only you took heed. Those more powerful and more repressive than you have gone and been humiliated. Their power and authority did not benefit them. Their henchmen and agents did not stand by them. Even their colonial masters threw them by the side of the road!
Indeed, Hizb ut-Tahrir advises you, even if you are of those who do not like sincere advice!
You have transgressed in respect of your deen, your Ummah, your land, and yourselves:
In respect of your deen: you threw Islam behind your backs, and waged war against the Khilafah and those who work for it, and you sought the rule of taghut whilst you were commanded to reject it.
In respect of your Ummah: you allied with her enemy, the colonial disbelievers and the Jews, and you oppressed her tyrannically.
In respect of your land: you lost Palestine and its surroundings, Kashmir, Cyprus, East Timor, South Sudan, and many other Islamic lands.
In respect of yourselves: you brought yourselves to humiliation and disgrace in this world, and have exposed yourselves to a severe torment in the next.
Thus, if there remains with you any ounce of sensation, you would step down, before you are made to step down and punished by the Khilafah when it is established, by the leave of Allah (swt).
وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ اللّهَ غَافِلاً عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الأَبْصَارُ * مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمْ لاَ يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ وَأَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَوَاء
“Deem not that Allah is unaware of what the wicked do. He but gives them a respite till a day when eyes will stare (in terror), as they come hurrying on in fear, their heads upraised, their gaze returning not to them, and their hearts as air.” (Ibrahim: 42-43)
