Eid of Departure: Between the Deception of the Rulers and Awakening of the Ummah
(Translated)

The ruling faction in Tunisia is marking the 15th of October 2016 as the 53rd anniversary of the departure of the last French soldier from Tunisia on the 15th of October 1963. They are taking ‘the departure’ as evidence for independence and liberation from colonialism and as a major point in respect to the building of a modern state. They connect the departure of the French army from Tunisia with the Battle of Bizerte (19th-22nd July 1961) that is whilst it is clear from the history that the French army left Tunisia two whole years following the “battle” of Bizerte. Many of the testimonies from those who were present at “the battle” establish that there was no war that took place between two regimented armies but rather a cowardly slaughter took place. That was when the criminal France bombed unarmed civilians alongside some national guard formations and a small number from the newly formed Tunisian army with their planes and tanks. They poured their evil maliciousness over the people of the land with incendiary bombs (Napalm) and killed more than 6000 martyrs in 4 days, of which only a very small number were armed from amongst the national guards and army.

The ‘Departure’ makes clear:

1 – Indeed the sons of Tunisia are of the material of heroes and they confronted terrorist France and its military armoury with their bare chests and unrivalled bravery. Their pure blood flowed for the sake of uprooting the colonialism and for the sake of the departure of the enemy troops was complete and real.

2 – The independence that was declared in 1956 was only artificial. That was because the French remained in Bizerte (which Galle Ferry said was more important that Tunisia as a whole) for another 8 complete years and launching its aircraft to strike at the Mujahideen in Algeria. That meant that the dead Bourguiba and his group had been partners of the French colonialism in respect to slaughtering the Mujahideen. Then when the stench of betrayal of Bourguiba began to spread and the reproach of the Mujahideen in Algeria became stronger in addition to the Tunisians who rejected the claimed independence agreement and from Egypt, when this happened the Bizerte Battle was concocted without any preparation or planning. And so they stirred thousands of unarmed civilians from all of Tunisia’s provinces to go to Bizerte to be slaughtered. That was all done only to improve his image and the evidence for that is that France left two years following the “battle”. Bourguiba then continued to have warm ties with France which had butchered the sons of Tunisia and Algeria whilst he was saying throughout the time that we want to build new relations with France (in this manner) without shame or shyness.

It is true that the French troops have left Tunisia but did the colonialism really leave from Tunisia? And has colonialism left the Muslim lands? Indeed, the talk about ‘the departure’ and celebrating it represents another face which is more dangerous:

Those celebrating the ‘departure’ wish to separate Tunisia from its natural entity of the Islamic lands whilst Tunisia had been a Wilayah (province) from amongst the provinces of a great state. And that the colonisation of Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt and other Muslim lands fell within a global plan which at that time was led by criminal Britain, accompanied by France and assisted by Arab and Turkish traitors in order to remove the Khilafah and Islam as a global power and to break up the State of the Muslims. France did not leave Tunisia and Algeria, nor did Britain leave from Egypt and Palestine except after they had felt assured that the new ruling faction was intellectually and politically subservient to the secular west and that the new leaders would fight against Islam and its callers, and stand against it with all their power to prevent the return of its political entity:

The rightly guided Khilafah that will join all of the Muslims together within one single state. Therefore, it happened in actuality that Tunisia came to be since the rule of Bourguiba secular fiercely fighting Islam within it whilst adopting Kufr and all that sprung out from it. That was until it had welcomed every deviant and foreign thought becoming a grazing ground fertile for the plundering colonialist companies that consume the resources and impoverish the land and the people. This is the great calamity that has encompassed all of the lands of Islam.

So did the ‘departure’ actually occur?? Or was the matter that was named national liberation that took place in the 1940’s and after that in the 20th century nothing other than a great deception for the Muslims in respect to the departure of colonisation? Whilst the truth is that the colonisation only went away in name whilst remaining in actuality in the case where the colonialist left an army of political agents, sheikhs and political parties behind them. It was it that chose itself whom the rule would be handed over to across negotiations so as to become servants and slaves to them whilst the western powers continued to run the affairs of the land from behind a curtain.

Did the ‘departure’ actually really happen from the Muslim lands? So what is the issue with the American and British military bases that surround the Islamic world? And what has the American army been doing in Iraq since 1990 and have we forgotten Afghanistan that is utterly destroyed? And what have the French soldiers been doing in Mali and Libya, and the British troops in Libya, Yemen and Tunisia??? That is in addition to the hosts of intelligence agents that have nested in all of the lands. The former British Foreign Secretary Hague stated that his land had doubled the number of employees in its embassy in Tunisia. As for the American embassy in Tunisia then it resembles a military base that hosts near to 5000 staff so what are they all doing???

Did the ‘departure’ actually take place within the Muslim lands? So what has happened with the blessed land of Palestine; has it been purified by our armies from the filth of the usurping Jews? And what is happening in Ash-Shaam of the Messenger of Allah (saw) and where Halab (Aleppo) is situated which the armies of the world are making war against to assist the mass murderer Bashar in slaughtering the Muslims there?

The real departure that we are seeking is the complete liberation from colonialism, not only in Tunisia but rather in all of the Islamic lands. The complete liberation means the liberation of our Ummah from the foreign western capitalist thought that has been imposed upon us with its constitutions and laws through coercion in addition to imposing its policies through the empty and hollow democracy that is controlled by money that has been stained with the blood of our martyrs.

The complete liberation means liberation from enslavement to the colonialist and for us to return as slaves to Allah Alone without exception, believing in Allah, His Messenger and Book within a single great state as we had been before:

- The Siyadah (sovereignty) is to Allah alone, He alone legislates for us.

- The Sultan (authority) belongs to the Muslims where they choose from amongst them a man whom they pledge allegiance to (Al-Bai’ah). They give him the Bai’ah upon the basis that he fosters their affairs by the Ahkam (rulings) of the Lord of the worlds and they assist and account him. Under his leadership they save the lands from the evils of the colonialist states, indeed they save the whole world from the daily crimes perpetrated by America, Britain, France, the UN, IMF, World Bank and…

This is the true meaning of ‘departure’. It is an effort of all of the Muslims with the powerful sincere military leaders at their head and the resolves of their truthful soldiers. If we were to remember the battle of Bizerte then we would remember the true position of those who went forth to Bizerte and whose Iman (belief) drove them to confront the colonialist and even if it was with only their bare chests. It was an obligation that none other than the best of men are capable of undertaking and we say to our martyrs from Bizerte to Libya then Egypt, Ash-Shaam, Aleppo, Palestine, Iraq and… You have had the preceding honour of making Jihad against the disbeliever colonialists, that we are continuing the battle of liberation and that we are living today the final chapters because the Ummah has arisen once again, awakened from its slumber, revealed the agents and traitors. Nothing now awaits except for the sincere leaders from the military men and noble men from amongst the influential people to cast aside the current rulers and remove from them the protection, just as they did previously with Ben Ali, Gadhafi and Mubarak. Then for them to give Bai’ah (the pledge) to a man who says that Allah is my Lord and who does not know any bowing other than to the Lord of the worlds, so as to become the Khalifah of the Messenger of Allah (saw) who rules them with Islam, unites them, their armies and completely expels the henchmen of the colonialists.

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.” [Al-Anfaal: 24]
