There has been much talk recently about the ‘transitional government’ that would lead a process of change in Syria. As this alleged “national” government, whose formation America wants to supervise, ManafTlass – a Syrian Brigadier – has emerged on the scene.
Brigadier Tlass defected in an unusual way, not seen with the natural spontaneous defections that thousands of the loyal honest officers and soldiers preceded him in that.
He emerged leaving little time for speculation, to declare on the channels screens and through the press, with words revealing the real role assigned to him.
He said that he wished “to draw a road map out of the crisis and re-drawing Syria in a civilized way as it was, even more beautiful”.
We ask ourselves: Was Syria beautiful under the rule of the deceased Hafez [al Assad] -throughout who’s reign and at the beginning of the rule of the criminal Bashar (a period extending from 1972 to 2004) his father General Mustafa Tlass acted as Defence Minister?
At that time Manaf was a close friend of Basil al-Assad, the former crown prince, who died in 1994. ManafTlass’s friendship turned to the second son, Bashar, when he inherited the role. This clearly shows that in the dissident Brigadier’s mind, there is no black history of Syria during the period in which the family of Al-Assad and the family of Mustafa Tlass ravaged corruption and destruction.
As for the rebels, their opinion of his lying and trickery will not alter, even if he changed his skin and appeared on screen wearing ihram while performing Umrah, just as his predecessors Hafiz, Basil and Bashar have appeared before. Allah,the Almighty said:
(يُخَادِعُونَ اللّهَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُم وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ (9) فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّهُ مَرَضاً وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ)
(They think to beguile Allah and those who believe, but they deceive only themselves, and they perceive it not. There is disease in their hearts, and Allah increased their disease; and they will have a painful punishment because they lie).
What the American newspaper “The Wall Street Journal” reported about U.S. officials in the administration of President Barack Obama as saying that “focus on the Brigadier ManafTlass, an old friend of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, is on the rise - at a time when hopes in the ability of the Syrian National Council to rally the opposition under one front are fading”, explains how Ahmet Davutoglu, the godfather of American policy in the region, received the dissident Brigadier, Manaf on 27/07/2012.
He is the first military that Davutoglu met despite the presence of many Syrian dissident officers in Turkey for more than a year, according to what was said by the Turkish Foreign Ministry. His visit coincided with statements by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that Al-Assad has begun to lose control, and that in his view the opposition forces have come to control matters in Syria. This shows one aspect of the conspiracy against the revolution, whose fruits America and its agents in Turkey want to pick.
O rebelling Muslims in Syria:
It has become clear to you how the Assad regime has served America’s policy in the region, and how he secured the borders of the Zionist entity. Have Manaf and his father been other than part of this regime, dressed with treason and servility to America?! It should be clear to you how the doors are open to Brigadier ManafTlass in Turkey and other countries, while they have been narrowed for others, like Hussein Harmoush!!
Let Muslims know that America is proceeding in its criminal and terrible plan towards stricken Syria and its brave people in order to ensure its own influence and to ensure the security of the Zionist entity, with no consideration for spilled blood and destroyed cities.
We, in Hizb-ut Tahrir, ask you to have full awareness of the American plans so as to frustrate them and bring down those who conspire with it, before bringing down the criminal Syrian regime conspiring with them; this regime, which commits its terrible crimes against both human beings and trees in Syria, for its own benefit and the benefit of (Israel).
We do not accept that the pure clean blood of our martyrs and the sacrifices of our young heroes and the efforts of our loyal officers to be invested by an opportunist, a cheap man, a national council serving foreign interests, or political figures that knock the doors of the West and the East.
We rather invite all free revolutionaries to save Syria of Sham (the centre of the abode of Islam), by working to establish the Law of Allah through the establishment of the Khilafah State. Be with the party that trusts in the promise of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him, for all Muslims of its establishment when he said:
“ثم تكون خلافة على منهاج النبوة”
“And then it will be Khilafah on the model of prophet hood”.
And to the people of the Sham specifically, when he said:
“عقر دار الإسلام الشام”
“The centre of the abode of Islam ‘Dar al-Islam’ is al-Sham”.
