Bismillahi Al-Rahman Al-Raheem

Let Ramadhan Welcome the Glorious Return of the Khilafah on the Way of the Prophethood

O Muslims of Pakistan!

This Ramadhan, the Blessed Month in which the Noble Quran was sent down on the Night of Power, witnesses great crimes flagrantly committed against the Book of Allah (swt) and the Sunnah of RasulAllah (saaw). Indeed, the current rulers have exceeded all limits in disobedience of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw). Rather than enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, as Islam has commanded, these despicable rulers work, day and night, to enjoin evil and forbid the good!

Islam commands Jihad, for the liberation of Muslim Lands and forbids assisting the Kuffar, by any means, in their wars of occupation. Yet, these rulers ignore the cries for help of the Muslims, in Palestine and Kashmir, whilst responding to the demands of the American crusaders in Afghanistan, to defend them from the noble Muslims of the tribal regions, particularly North Waziristan. Islam commands that our vast energy resources are a public property, to be spent on the needs of all citizens, Muslims and non-Muslims. Yet, the current rulers insist on the privatization of energy, in obedience to the colonialist IMF, handing huge wealth over to a few, depriving the many, from Baluchistan to Kashmir, and condemning them to daily hardship and despair. Islam forbids men from making law according to their whims and desires and commands that law is derived from Quran and Sunnah alone. Yet, the current rulers force Democracy and its corrupted laws down our throats, whilst using brute force to suppress the advocates of the Khilafah as part of the “National Action Plan,” so that their masters in Washington will be pleased with them.

This is but where the current rulers’ crimes against Allah (swt), His Messenger (saaw) and the Believers begin, O Muslims, though there seems to be no end.

O Muslims of Pakistan!

Without doubt, the current rulers are our greatest affliction, strengthening the hands of our enemies against us and denying us our right to live by Islam alone. However, what is essential to removing this affliction is to fulfil our responsibility before Allah (swt) and RasulAllah (saaw). Islam clearly established that affliction will never be limited to the oppressors alone, but will extend to the victims of the oppression, if they witness it but do not challenge it. In the Book of Allah (swt), in which there is no doubt, Allah (swt) said:

“And fear the punishment which afflicts not in only those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict everyone), and know that Allah is severe in punishment.” [Surah al-Anfaal: 25]

RasulAllah (saaw) said,

“If people saw an oppressor but did nothing to stop him, then soon Allah (swt) will punish them all.” [Tirmidhi].

And RasulAllah (saaw) said,

“By Whom in Whose hand my soul is, you have to enjoin the good and forbid the evil, otherwise Allah will be about to send upon you a punishment from Him, then you will call him (make Du’a), but He will not answer you.” [Ahmad].

Yes, indeed, RasulAllah (saaw) commanded the Muslims to listen and obey the rulers, but he (saaw) also made it obligatory upon us to account them, when they deviate from the Truth and to reject their actions by speaking against them. This is because the Muslims have the responsibility to ensure that the ruler observes his duty and they are obliged to forbid him from the prohibited things. RasulAllah (saaw) said,

“Indeed there shall come upon you rulers, some of what they do you recognize as good and some as evil. Whoever rejects the evil, he is free (of sin). Whoever hates it (in his heart), he is safe (from punishment). But whoever is pleased and follows, he is neither free (of sin) nor safe (from punishment).” [Tirmidhi]

This, O Muslims, is regarding accounting the ruler who came to authority by a legitimate Bayah, implemented Islam, but then neglected it, so what of the current rulers, who usurped the authority and trampled on Islam under their feet, from the very first day of their ruling?

As for the whispering of the shayateen from amongst the Jinn and men, which spreads fear amongst us, to prevent us from boldly speaking the truth before the tyrant, Allah (swt) said,

“Say: ‘Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is our Helper and Protector.’ And in Allah let the believers put their trust.” [Surah at Taubah 9:51]

And Allah (swt) said,

“Do you fear them? Allah is more worthy of your fear, if you are Believers!” [Surah At-Tawba 9:13].

And RasulAllah (saaw) said,

“Do not fear the people from speaking the Truth, when it is witnessed or seen, for it will neither shorten the life span nor cause loss in rizq.” [Ahmad]. Thus, O Muslims, Imaan and fear of the tyrant do not co-exist in the same heart, so let us demand the return of the Khilafah, ever stronger and ever louder.

O Officers of Pakistan’s Armed Forces!

This Ramadhan, the demand for the return of the Khilafah is found in every corner of Pakistan, at its every level, and has reached your ears, loudly and clearly. Now it is your responsibility to ensure that the implementation of Islam becomes a practical reality, for you alone have the physical capability to succeed, just as the noble Ansaar (ra) did in the time of RasulAllah (saaw). This Ramadhan, grant the Nussrah (Material Support) to Hizb ut Tahrir, under its Ameer, Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, for the return of the Khilafah, the mighty shield of the Muslims against their enemies. Move now to restore Ramadhan as a month of glorious victory, assured of the promise of Allah (swt) of replacing the current rulers by the righteous ones and the glad tidings of RasulAllah (saaw) of the end of the oppressive rule by the return of the Khilafah on the way of Prophethood. Allah (swt) said,

“Allâh has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land” [Surah an-Noor 24:55].

And RasulAllah (saaw) said,

“Then there will be an oppressive rule, and it will remain as long as Allah wills. Then Allah will end it when He wills. Then there will be a Khilafah according to the way of Prophethood.” Then he (saaw) fell silent.” [Ahmad]
