On 11 May 2012, Naveed Butt, the official spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Pakistan, was abducted by the thugs of the Kayani-Zardari regime. On the anniversary of this heinous abduction, Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan announces “Free Naveed Butt Week.” From 11 May 2013 until 17 May 2013, Muslims are to contact their relatives, former class fellows and friends in the intelligence agencies of Pakistan, especially Military Intelligence (MI) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). They are to deliver the following message to the officers and other staff of these agencies, written or verbally:
“To Officer/Staff of Pakistan’s intelligence agencies:
Assalamu Alaikum, on 11 May 2012, Naveed Butt, the official spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Pakistan, was abducted upon the orders of traitors within the political and military leadership. The master of these traitors, America, fears the return of the Khilafah to our Muslim Lands, a Khilafah which will end the American presence within these lands once and for all. So, these traitors added to their many sins, by waging war on the advocates of Khilafah, inviting the anger of Allah (swt) to visit them. Allah (swt) said in the Hadeeth Qudsi, “قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَنْتُهُ بِالْحَرْبِ”“The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him that Allah said, whomever harms my Wali I will declare a war against him …” [Bukhari].
Thus, this small club of traitors is busy focusing you against the “internal threat” to the American Raj, which is this Ummah itself, led by its bravest and most capable sons. This is why they ordered the abduction of civilians, such as Naveed Butt, and court martial of military officers, such as Brigadier Ali Khan. They order your institutions to undertake filthy work on their behalf, exposing all of yourselves to the punishment of Allah (swt) and the curses of the Muslim relatives of those whom you persecute, abduct and torture to please America.
As for you, know that the Americans fear that once the Khilafah is established, which inshaaAllah is only a matter of time, your institution will be as Islam demands you to be, a cause of fear for the enemies and a practical means for the supremacy of Islam. Allah (swt) said, وَلَن يَجْعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلاً “And Allah does not permit the believers to grant the kafireen a way (to supremacy) over the believers.” [Al-Nisaa: 141] Is this not what would endear you to Allah (swt), His Messenger (saw) allowing yourselves to raise your heads high in honour and dignity?
Your duty in this situation is to play your role in securing the Nussrah for Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah. It is this Khilafah which is mandated as a duty by our Lord, Allah (swt) and whose return if foretold by our master, Sayyidena Muhammad (saw): ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا جَبْرِيَّةً فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ ثُمَّ سَكَتَ “Then there will be an oppressive rule, and things will be as Allah wishes them to be. Then Allah will end it when He wishes. Then there will be a Khilafah according to the method of Prophethood.” Then he (saw) fell silent.
However, if love of this life and fear of death overtakes you and slows you down from this duty, then the very least you can do is to secure the release of Naveed Butt, a man who loves death in the cause of Islam as others would love this life, short and fleeing in its pleasures. And regarding the seeking of excuses to release Naveed Butt from his abduction, consider only how you hope to excuse yourself on the Day of Judgement before Allah (swt) when Naveed brings witness against you.
